The most important and useful property of nitrile rubber is its resistance against fuel oil and chemical that why it is highly used in chemical industry. All hose pipe which work to carry oil and gas is made by nitrile rubber. It uses to make gloves and other product which is highly use in chemical lab and in other industrial application. According to wikkipedia  source nitrile rubber can bear -40 to 108 c temperature which make it ideal material for aeronautic material. There are some other uses of nitrile rubber to manufacture footwear, sponge and flooring mat.

Although nitrile rubber is far better than the natural rubber but it can be attacked by ozone, ketones, esters and aldehydes.
